TRAVEL
BY AIR:
If you're flying to the island, we recommend checking out Cape Air's website
Cape Air offers year-round flights from Boston and NYC.
BY SEA:
If you're traveling by boat, be sure to visit the Steamship Authority website
The Steamship Authority services Martha’s Vineyard year-round from their port in Woods Hole, MA. Trips are 45-minutes long, and in March, the Vineyard Haven terminal is the only open terminal.
Car reservations are required in advance, but walk-on tickets do not need reservations. Walk-on passengers can purchase tickets online or directly at the Steamship terminal.

Take advantage of the VTA's free bus service to easily travel to our venues! Bus routes #1, #2, #3, #6 and #13 connect the festival venues, with stops at the West Tisbury Town Hall and the Steamship Authority terminal in Vineyard Haven. See their schedule here.
TRANSPORTATION
How to get around the island!
Taxis, Uber, or Lyft:
If you’re ordering an Uber/Lyft or taxi, please plan to do so at least 30 minutes before your screening. The island is bigger than it seems, and it may take time for your driver to reach your location.
Please note, the number of Uber and Lyft drivers on Martha’s Vineyard in the off-season is much less than in the busier summer months, making taxis your best option.
